Back To School

It has been a very busy week!! Brayden and Kambree started 6th and 2nd grade in their new schools. I am officially the mother of a middle schooler!! They are both really enjoying it and adjusting quickly. I might miss their old schools more than they do. :) Kambree's elementary school has over 900 students! I found out that I know at least three other moms, which is somewhat comforting in such a large school. It has been wonderful for the kids to meet other kids in the neighborhood and get to go to school with them as well.

Here's the second day.... Kambree and our neighbor.

And picture day

Last Sunday, August 26, Adalynn turned 2 months old!  I can't believe how fast it goes by. She is a doll and a such happy baby. She has started cooing and smiling when you talk to her and she definitely knows who her mommy is! At her 2 month check up she was 12 pounds 13 ounces and 23 inches long. Her weight was in the 90th percentile and her length was in the 70th percentile. She's a clearly a good eater and a healthy baby! She has started sleeping 9-10 hours a night in her own room. What a blessing that is! I'm going to post more about sharing rooms and making her a nursery later.

All dressed up to go to a baby shower with mommy.

Also, this week Trinity lost her first baby tooth at only 4 1/2! Brayden and Kambree both lost their first tooth at 5 1/2. I had no idea she even had a loose tooth. She was thrilled to be a "big kid" and have a visit from the Tooth Fairy.

On top of school starting our nights have filled up with sports. We let each kid pick one sport they want to do at a time. Hudson and Trinity are both playing soccer and Kambree is playing softball for the first time. Brayden has done baseball & jujitsu but isn't too interested in either at the moment. So, we're letting him focus on his new school and some AP classes for now. Saturdays are going to be quite full as well with 2 soccer games and a softball game until some time in November. I love fall and cooler weather so I'm looking forward to it all.

Trinity's first game of the season
   She scored a goal!!!!

WOW! I'm exhausted! Guess I better get use to it. We are headed to a End Of Summer Party with all the kids this afternoon. They can't wait for the giant water slide!! Have a great Labor Day weekend!
